Eligibility Criteria of Railway Recruitment 2021
Education Qualification:- Candidates must be Possess Diploma (Civil Engg/ Electrical Engg), Graduation in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Signal & Telecommunications). Therefore, before applying for recruitment, you can check the official notification.
Age Limit:- Minimum age of the candidate shall be 21 years, and Maximum period shall be 25 years as on 31/07/2021. There will be an upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC-NCL candidates.
Application Fee
For all candidates except the fee concession (Non-Refundable):- Rs100/-
For SC/ST/Female/Minorities/EWS/Physically handicapped:- No Fee
Modes of Payment of Fee: Online fee payment through internet banking or debit/credit cards will be accepted up to
18/11/19 till 23:59 Hrs. The payment gateway is integrated with the online application form. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidate.
Stipend
For Graduate Engineers – Rs.4984/- per month
For Diploma Holders – Rs.3542/- per month
Agreement Of Training:- Before commencement of the Apprenticeship training in the designated trade, the selected
candidate has to enter into a Contract of Apprenticeship Training with the following provisions.
Employment in KRCL: As per Apprentice Act, 1961, it shall not be obligatory at any point in time for KRCL to employ Apprentice on completion of the training.
Duration of training: Duration of Training shall be one year tentatively commencing from 1st week of November 2021.
Place of Training: Candidates shall be deployed at any work location, the station of KRCL in the State applied for.
Registration with Apprenticeship Portal: Candidates are required to register themselves online with the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme portal at www.mhrdnats.gov.in or any other relevant entrance for the same.
Mode of Selection for training:- The candidates will be selected for training based on the percentage of marks
obtained at the time of acquiring of BE or Diploma in the relevant field.
