The notification of SBI PO 2021 recruitment was released on 21st OCT for 2000 vacancies of Bank PO. The online exam of SBI PO Mains has been successfully concluded on 4th FEB 2021.

As per the latest notice, the result of SBI PO Mains is scheduled to be announced on 31st FEB 2021. SBI will prepare a merit list of the candidates according to their marks obtained in the exam and call them for Group Discussion and Interview round.

The final selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in Interview & GD.

What is the SBI PO Exam?

SBI PO, a national level exam is being conducted by State Bank of India for the recruitment of Probationary Officers. SBI PO is known for the most coveted job profile among other bank PO post where almost 30 Lakh students participate in the exam annually.

What’s New in SBI PO Exam 2021?

Unlike last year, this time SBI PO recruitment has come up with following two major changes:

1. First, a sectional time limit has been introduced for each section in SBI PO Prelims exam.

2. Second, there is no sectional cut off for SBI PO Preliminary as well as Mains exams. The final selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in each phase of the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for SBI PO Exam is as follows-

  1. Age-Based Eligibility
    Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 1st OCT 2021.
  2. Educational Qualification
    Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government as on 31st FEB 2021.

  • Go to the “Click here for New Registration”.
  • Enter your valid details such as Name, Email ID & Contact Number.
  • Now click on “Submit”.
  • You will get Registration Number and Password on the screen.
  • Upload your scanned signature and photograph.
  • Enter your personal details as per educational certificate.
  • Now pay the application fee via debit card/credit card/internet banking.
  • The final step is to check the details and save the copy of the SBI PO form.
  • Download it for future reference.

The Selection Procedure of SBI PO involves the following phases-

  1. Preliminary Exam (Objective)
  2. Mains Exam (Objective + Descriptive)
  3. Group Exercise and Interview

Biometric Verification: The biometric verification system is being launched for the secure SBI PO 2021 selection procedure. For Biometric Verification, the bank will take your digital thumb impression, to check your authenticity.

Any discrepancy in your biometric data NOV leads to rejection and legal actions against you. Thus, it is advisable not to apply things like Mehandi (Henna), Chemical, Ink, etc. on your hands. 

Exam Pattern

This year, a new exam pattern has been introduced for the SBI PO Prelims exam. Now, there is a sectional time limit of 20 minutes to attempt each section in the online test of SBI PO Prelims. However, there is no change in the total time duration.
